Abundance v/s Poverty Mindset

Being in corporate world most everyone gets exposed to the zero-sum game in a environment where something/one has to loose for someone else to win.

I see that as very limiting. Abundance is possible, but only if we can imagine it and then embrace it.

How do I know that I have Poverty mindset ?

The more you have, the less I have.
The more I share, the more I lose.

You are more driven by lack of then more of. You are more leaning towards the thought process of "If I give you something, it costs me what I gave you."

Can you catch yourself thinking any/all of the above at some point in dealings with people.

We cant quite help but think like that ..school,friends,society and other factors contribute towards that subtle default thoughts of lack/poverty thinking.

When you give something away, you benefit more than recipient does. The act of being generous makes you rich beyond measure,In fact thats what drives more people who choose to donate either time or money to charitable causes.

But that's hard thing to start doing, because you have been taught that what's yours is yours. If you don't have enough and then how can you possibly give away what you have? And everyday, successful people race to give away their expertise and to stead their ideas.

Something to think about eh ?
